Rachel Rosamund is an educator with over twenty years teaching experience. As a wide-eyed gap-year student she got her first taste of teaching in a language academy. Faced with a horde of feisty, ferocious five year olds it was many years before she was ready to brave another classroom. After graduating with a degree in Spanish and Italian Studies, a rucksack of her belongings and the endless optimism of youth, she lived and worked in Valencia as an interpreter and translation tutor before changing direction to spend a few years traveling. During this time she did various jobs, from barmaid to nanny, before coming full circle to enrol in a teacher-training course in Dorset. Nowadays she is semi-retired, adapting to a new work life balance by tutoring online, walking the dog, practising yoga, studying, crafting, reading, story telling and entertaining crazy ideas like writing a children’s book!
